Jess Crombie

Jess Crombie

My name is Jess Crombie and I’m a busy working mum of 3 children aged 3, 8 and 11. Since 2019 I have run my own accounting business, I also assist with my husband’s drilling exploration business and running the family farm. Where possible I utilise my business expertise to assist the local community of Orange. I am apart of a few local groups, including roles as the secretary of an agricultural cooperative and the treasurer of CYMS netball club. On top of that I coach both my girls netball teams (under 12s and 8s).

With my husbands work requiring him to travel often I take on the responsibilities of running out family’s Angus cattle business when needed. I believe the struggles my family and myself have faced are no where near that of others, however I do feel that they have made me a caring and supportive person. I feel that being a mother gives you the strength, power and courage to face the world and having two daughters I want to prove to them anything is possible and give them every opportunity in life to succeed.

I’m extremely humbled by this nomination and whilst I can sit here and say I find it easy to do it all, I don’t, it’s hard and exhausting, but so rewarding, and I feel I can achieve everything I do because our family surrounds themselves with supportive like minded people who help each other to be the best version of themselves.
